Column Turnaround Capability

To become an all encompassing column turnaround specialist, DTEC has developed its range of services to enable it to address all aspects of column related work. We can handle any type of mass transfer equipment change outs, perform spading and de-spading, supply and install new nozzles, perform tower attachment and shell modifications and general column inspection work.

From the onset we recognised the importance of having a competent welding and engineering capability and as such have made a large investment in the welding side of our business. DTEC has completed weld procedure qualifications in a broad spectrum of common and exotic materials. We have welders available with multi codings and would develop further PQR’s and obtain codings to meet any specific or peculiar customer requirements.

In order to meet emergency deliveries of trays and other equipment identified during inspections we have UK and overseas based manufacturing facilities on permanent standby. We stock all of the common tray materials and have extensive stocks of spare hardware.
